GET TO KNOW THE CITY OF JAYUYA, PUERTO RICO

Casa Catalina is located in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. The city of Jayuya lies in the Central Mountain Range in the middle of Puerto Rico. Here, you will find a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere filled with the best that nature has to offer. Jayuya is also home of some of the best coffee farms in the island. It is a two (2) hour drive from the island's capital, San Juan. The drive through the mountains of Jayuya and towards Casa Catalina is filled with wide and narrow turns, giving you the sense of adventure as you escalade and descend Jayuya's scenic paradise. The city of Jayuya is also known as the Indigenous Capital "La Capital Indígena" because of its many Taino-Indian sites, the Town of the Tomatoes "La Ciudad de los Tomates", and home of the highest mountain peak in the island known as "Cerro de Punta" elevated at 1,338 meters above sea level.
